Algae growth is unavoidable with a mesh pool cover! Mesh covers have very little maintenance during the winter and do not need a pool cover pump because the water can easily passed through the cover and into your pool. It’s extremely important to remember with a mesh cover that everything is going into your pool. When you open for the season extra chemicals will be needed, a lot of extra chemicals.

Solid pool covers keep the debris and sunlight out of your pool, greatly decreasing your chance of algae growth. Opening your pool in the summer is a breeze and you won’t break your budget. A solid cover also creates a safer environment. Pool and spa covers should be firm and inflexible. All covers should be strong enough to hold a child who may wonder onto them.
